SHIPSIDE ABSTRACTS – NEW WORK

A few years ago I started exploring the rivers around Portland, Oregon. The large ships that come in are fascinating, and huge compared to my small boat. I was in awe and took many photographs. I saw so many patterns and colors on the sides of the ships – from scraping docks and many coats of paint and who knows what adventures.   Here are a few of the wonderful abstract pictures that came from that exploration – by cropping and ramping up the light and color their patterns are exposed. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

If you’d like more information do contact me (see contact page). The titles are numbered from left to right, top to bottom (ship 1, ship 2, etc.). I couldn’t possibly figure out how to name each one!
